Structure of a simple categorical syllogize

   In the syllogism is exactly three terms:

   S - less the term: the subject of the conclusion (is also a smaller parcel);

   P - better term: a predicate conclusion (is also a great premise);

   M - medium term: includes the two parcels, but not included in the conclusion.

   To be S (subject) - something about which we express (divided into two types):

   Definition: Unique, Private, Multiple

   Unique [discussion] - in which the subject is an individual concept. Note: "Newton discovered the law of gravitation"

   Private opinion - in which the subject is the notion of judgments made in part of its volume. Note: "Some S substance P"

   Multiple discussion - are those in which several concepts for the class. Note: "insects, spiders, crayfish have Arthropoda"

   Uncertain. Note: "Day", "hurt", etc.

   Predicate P (predicate) - that we express (2 types of judgments):

   Narrative - This discussion about the events, states, processes or activities skoroprohodyaschih. Note: "Rose blooms in the garden".

   Descriptive - when one or many items attributed to any property. The offender always a certain thing. Note: "Fire hot", "snow white".

   The relationship between subject and predicate:

   Judgments of identity - the notion of subject and predicate have the same amount. Note: "Every equilateral triangle is equiangular triangle"

   Judgments of subordination - the notion of less volume is subject to the broader notion of volume. Note: "A dog has a pet"

   Judgments relations - namely space, time, relationships. Note: "The house is located on the street"
