About Categorical syllogism
Simple categorical syllogism - reasoning, consisting of three simple attribute expressions: two premises and one conclusion. Parcels syllogize divided into large (which contains the predicate opinion) and less (which includes the subject of the conclusion). By medium term ratiocinate divided into pieces, and the last of the logical form of assumptions and conclusions - for modi.
Example syllogize:
Every man is mortal (big assumption)
Socrates - people (smaller parcel)

Socrates is mortal (conclusion)
The quality and quantity distinguish four types of simple attributive expressions:
A - from lat. Affirmo - Obscheutverditelnye ( "All human beings are mortal")
I - from lat. Affirmo - Chastnoutverditelnye ( "Some people - students")
E - Latin. Nego - Obscheotritsatelnye ( "No whale not a fish")
O - from lat. Nego - Chastnootritsatelnye ( "Some people are not students")
Single words (eg, where the entity is a single term) equal to the general.
